- You can normally work around the problem by instructing your modem to
- "blind dial" - which means to dial w/o looking for a dial tone. If you
- have a command "X4" in your modem setup string, change it to X3.
- Otherwise, just add X3 at the start of your dial string:
- ATx3DTxxx-xxxx.
